# 💡How to create promotions?🤔
1. Begin by clicking on "**Create Promotion**" from the side menu. Before creating a promotion, make sure you fulfill the Google requirements. [Learn more about the requirements.](https://support.google.com/merchants/answer/4588748?hl=en)
2. Next, click on the "**Create Promotion**" button.
3. First, choose the promotion category and then select the country where you want to offer the promotion. For instance, I selected "**Percentage Off**" and opted for the USA.
4. Next, choose the **Promotion Type**, set the **Discount Amount**, type your **Title**, & **Promotion ID.** Additionally, specify the destinations and set your preferred start and end dates for the promotion.
5. You can now create a discount code by filling in the **generic code** section. Alternatively, you can choose the "**no code**" option. Next, select the products to which you want to apply this promotion. You have the option to select **Specific Products** or apply it to **All Products**; in this case, I'll choose specific. Finally, click on "**Create Promotion**."
6. You will see that the promotion has been successfully created.
7. Copy the **promotion ID**, then open the desired product by clicking "**Edit**" next to it in the Google feed. Paste the promotion ID in the designated field and click "**Save**" to apply it.
8. You can now see the promotion added in the Google Merchant Center under the additional details of that product.
