First, click on the “Get Started” button to begin the setup process.
Now, click on “Sign in with Google”, select your Google account, and then click on “Continue” to proceed.
Make sure to select all scopes when connecting your Google account.
Now, select your “Google Merchant Center” and click on “Connect Merchant Center”, then click “Continue”. After clicking Continue, you'll see the option to verify your domain. You can either verify it manually or use the app to do so.
Here, I'll be verifying the domain through the application. First, click on the “Copy” button, then click on the “Arrow” to proceed.
This will take you to the “Theme App Embeds” section. First, turn on the app extension and click on the name of the application. Paste the copied code in the provided field, then click “Save”. You'll receive an email from Google confirming the domain verification.
Now, select your “Shopify market” along with the relevant “language” and “currency” for that market.
There are two options for channel settings: the default is set to "Online." If you're setting up a Google Shopping feed for online products, select the "Online" channel. If you're interested in creating a local inventory feed, you can learn more about that option as well.
Now, enter a name for your feed. Choose the “Product ID format” that suits your products. In the “Source Management” section, select “All Products” if you want to include all items in the feed. Alternatively, you can add specific collections by selecting products from a collection or exclude any collection as needed.
Select all the options according to your specific needs and preferences.
Now, select the “age group”, “gender”, and “condition” of the products. After making your selections, click on “Finish”. You can skip filling out the UTM parameters.
Now, click on “Sync Now” to initiate the synchronization process.
After clicking on "Sync Now," you'll be directed to the pricing page. Here, you can choose a plan that best fits your needs, or you have the option to customize your plan based on your specific requirements.
You'll need to wait for a while as your products are being uploaded.
Here, the status for all of my products is “Pending”, and they will be approved after Google's review process.
Congratulations!🤩 So you first have been created successfully.🥳
After sometime when you visit your Google Merchant Center. Here, you’ll see that some products have already been approved, as shown in the image below. All remaining products will be approved after Google’s review, typically within a few hours.
